Procrastination Station
I washed most of the dishes yesterday. Check.
I finally typed up the minutes from the last Chrysalis board meeting and sent them to all the members, along with the reminder for next Monday’s board meeting. Check.
That’s it. I still need to vacuum and dust and clean the cat litter and put away the laundry. But I just couldn’t manage to squeeze it in between the 19 hours of tv I watched yesterday. Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but not much. What is my deal with tv? Why am I so lazy sometimes? I just feel like doing nothing. I come home from work and the fatigue overwhelms me. But it’s just an excuse most days. If I were to go slow and pace myself I could manage it. People have had to deal with worse physical obstacles than pain and fatigue. I just have my ups and downs, that’s all.
On a positive note, I’m listening to the new Bethany Dillon album on Rhapsody and it is divine. Simply beautiful. I love the way she sings about our Jesus. You can tell that they are very close friends.
Pele just tried to crawl into my lap and brought with her the scent of the litter box. I think that means it’s time to stop procrastinating. I’ll be back soon. Play some Sudoku while you are waiting…

Litter box clean. Check.
It felt good to get that done and over with. I think now I’ll go put away some laundry (while I watch tv, of course).
Good night, Loved Ones.

http://www.backpackit.com It’s just a website I heard about. I don’t know if it’d be useful to you or not. But, it’s worth checking out. It’s free unless you need an upgrade.

Procarastination and laziness are part of your english heritage. Its proof you aren’t German. Have another cup of tea and a crumpet or two.

Oh, thank goodness, that explains so much. So what you are saying is I should just embrace it? I think I can handle that. Oh, I think my teapot is whistling… gotta go!

I am German and Scot-Irish and I am pretty darn lazy. I finally learned that for the three days that I am lazy, I have at least one day where I am productive enough for the next three days to be lazy in. The worst time for me is if I have a book to read. I find that reading the book comes before anything else. But I read all the time, so I never get anything done. Except maybe blogging. Anyway, if you are lazy it is because of your English, German, and Scot-Irish heritage, I am afraid. So join the crowd.

I still think it has nothing to do with heritage, but its society’s fault. Everything is “easier” now. We have toilets that wipe our butts for us. I bodies are becoming accustomed to laziness. It’s not a good direction to go in because in turn nobody really takes pride in the things they do, especially when Betty Crocker can make a better cake than they can.
It makes me sad…:(

I feel that I’m more clean and have more energy when I’m happy. On days that I feel down my room and chores are harder to do, but I do my best at it anyway. I try to do a little everyday. Sometimes when mom is extra busy, and the house gets messyer than normal, I like to clean the whole house like it belongs to me. Kind of like practise for when I have my own house. I love living in a clean home where I can find things, it also makes me feel proud after I clean. I totaly understand what you are talking about kari. I hope I keep up the way I feel right now, when I really do have a house. Mom is my model for what I hope to become. She is great. Not perfect but great.
I know you can do it Mindy, with help from God. Oh and by the way turn off the tv.hahahaha You might try to just watch a few shows. Or just pick a few days that you watch it. I love you and will be praying for you. Pray for my sometimes down days too. Were in this together.
