OH MAN, I will just DIE if I don’t get to go to this concert!! I NEED, I NEED!!
R.E.M. is my all-time favorite band and I have never seen them in concert 
I’ve just never had the chance because they don’t tour in America like normal bands and I certainly don’t have the funds to fly to London for one little concert. But here they are, touring America with Modest Mouse and The National! They will be in Chicago on June 6 and I think I might just give my left leg to be there. Of course if I did that I might need someone to drive…

I’ve seen REM in concert. I think it was 94 or 95. Very much worth the drive to Chicago…even if you have to do it with one leg!

To bad Luke isn’t a year old yet. Otherwise you could give blood a few times instead. Less painful, more noble.

I was gonna say I would give my right leg but I went with the left because I’m a sucker for alliteration. And yes, that way I could still drive. Plus I could probably get handicap parking!

Oh, I really hope you get tickets!!!! We saw them a few years ago here in Maryland and it was WONDERFUL! Of course, we missed Bill, but bygones. They were still great, and they even played some old stuff! Best of luck snagging some seats!
