Sometimes cats need more extensive bathing
Cats generally do well at grooming themselves with those razor sharp tongues of theirs but sometimes they need a bit of help. Sometimes things get stuck in places they don’t belong and the task of removing said things is too great a task for them, if you know what I mean. I’m just as grossed out by that as you are, which is why I let Mike handle the dirty work.

is buster any part maine coon? i hear they’re notorious for loving water. my friend tree’s cat, clyde, was always getting in the shower with her.

Yes, he is part maine coon. That accounts for his fascination with water as well as his calm demeanor, fluffy hair, and enormous size (he’s a tank). He is always climbing up on the side of the tub when we take showers. He’s cooky but we love him.
